Welcome to Milk Maid Lactation Counseling!

My mission is to help you reach your breastfeeding goals. I am here to support, help, and guide you.  There can be challenges that come with breastfeeding along with a lot of misinformation, and that is where I come in.  Whether you need help with nipple pain, guidance about pumping when you return to work, or information about the benefits of breastfeeding, I am here for you.

I am a private practice lactation counselor based in Columbus, Ohio.  I do in-office consultations as well as home visits.  I also do prenatal breastfeeding counseling, either on a one-on-one basis or for groups.

I am excited to announce that I now am utilizing craniosacral therapy in my lactation practice.  CST helps tremendously with helping to resolve latch and pain issues.  CST combined with my RMT training is also very helpful for babies who don't like tummy time, can't sleep well, have torticollis, plagiocephaly, or brachycephaly.  I work with both breastfed and bottle fed babies for the craniosacral therapy.

Free CranioSacral Clinic for Low Income Families - Our last free clinic was a big success, so it's time for another!

This clinic will be on Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Spirit of Healing office.  There will be three time slots                                                                 available: 9:00, 10:15, and 11:30.  We will have 5 spots available at each time slot.  The clinic is for babies who                                                       are not yet crawling.  They can be breastfed or bottlefed.  Call the office to schedule 614-326-3504.

Our goal is to try to get services to families who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford them, and as such we                                                     have an income guideline that participants must qualify for WIC (see link below).
